Question:

How to lower your high blood pressure?

I just discovered that I have a high blood pressure (130/100) and I am only 24 years old. I lived a sedentary lifestyle before but now I am going to start to work on Monday. It is scaring the sh*t out of me thinking that I might be close to having a serious heart condition and die all of a sudden.

Also, lately I found that I'm always anxious and easily startled. Could this be the cause of my high blood pressure.

I want to live my life for 50 years more. What can I do.

  1. try tai chi . Its perfect for a condition like yours. Search in the internet for info about tai chi. And join some place which teach tai chi or practice by yourself from the internet manuals itself.

  2. when i started going to the gym and lost 30 lbs my blood pressure decreased significantly.  i was very scared as i was 25 yrs old and the doc said my bp was slightly high.

  3. Eat garlic on your food daily and 1 tbs apple cider vinergar,it works.you may need Meds to lower it.

  4. go see a doctor sweetie. good luck with everything :)

  5. Exercise, try to eat more healthy foods, and try not to let stress get you down, though that can be very hard. Good Luck.

  6. Start exercising, such as aerobics like swimming and walking.

Cut down on caffiene, like coffee or espresso.

Don't eat too much fast food or TV dinners, because these have a lot of salt in them.

You do not say if you are overweight, but if you are, then lose the excess pounds.

And finally, see a physician for regular checkups, in case you may need medication. But try to do the above first, before the meds.

    Hope this helps.
