How to mail fresh tamales from TX to CA?

My mother used to mail polish sausage to me every two months. She would freeze the sausages solid, along with a couple of jell packs, for at least 24 hours. She would package the sausage in a box, between the two frozen jell packs, add a layer of bubble wrap, put the address on  it and throw it back in the freezer until 30 minutes before the post office closed so it would be put on the transport truck within the hour. It would still be quite cold when I received it 3 days later. In fact, in the winter it might still be frozen!

hey im in texas but you better do a DHL 1 day delivery and probably freeze them as well. im not to sure about the freezing part though
