I found a website from where to buy jellyfish and was thinking of getting one of the smallest (0.5-1 inch). But i don't know from where to get the food (plankton) or if they need saltwater or regular water?

  1. Jellys are saltwater, I hope you do no plan on keeping fish with it...

  2. A jellyfish should not be kept in a little aquarium, don't get one.  It would probably be a ton of work too.

  3. jellyfish are saltwater fish...tip: don't leave a dark one with a light one unless you want multiple jellyfish.....

  4. Awww, that's a really cute jellyfish.  I would totally buy that myself if I had the patience for a saltwater aquarium.  Here is a great website with good tips for keeping jellyfish as pets:  http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/jellyfis...  and here is a website with info on making your own plankton:  http://www.reeflounge.com/showthread.php...

Good luck with your cute new pet!
