  1. Can you not just super-chlorinate the day that your going. That way the Chlorine levels will decrease as the week goes on but it'll still be protected. Make sure nobody goes in it though

  2. We have an automatic floater in our pool that you can place chlorine tablets in. This usually last a couple of weeks so you should be fine during the week you're gone.

Any swim pool supply store will have these. You place about 6 tablets in the base of the contraption and throw it in the pool. It floats on the surface. It's about the size of a gavel.

Good luck and have a great time in Vegas.

  3. The chlorinator is a great idea that will help your pool from going green. But you should have your neighbor come by to top off the pool's water level since you are losing 1/4" per day and if gone for a week that is almost 2" of water.  It is not a good idea to overfill your pool either but if you have no other choice I guess you do it.

Give the neighbor a gate key.

    You're welcome!!
