put a k & n air filter in it to get few few more horsepower ,flow-master exhaust ,better spark plugs, nitrous ,a turbo charger if you can if one for it thats all i can think of at the moment but ill answer later

How fast do you need to go? Are you making a drag truck for the drag strip, or driving it daily? As a daily driver it should be able to do the speed limits already. If you're building a truck for the strip, then you need to look at V8 engines and performance parts.

would help if we knew what type of engine you had. if its a 4.7. then  your already over 300 HP and if its the HO version of the 4.7 then thats even  more.  if its the 3.7 v-6 just live with it.

Put in a hypertec performance chip,k&n cold air intake system,catback exaust,change the rear end gears,underdrive pulley kit....etc..How much do you want to spend on making it faster?You can spend lots to put in a booster..all stuff listed above will only give you about 30-50hp if you are lucky.
