  1. movie and sleep

  2. If you have nothing to do, a 7-hour flight can seem even longer. I suggest bringing a neck pillow, eye shade, Tylenol PM, a good book or magazine, and your iPod.

Once you get past security in the airport, buy a bottle of water and take it on board the plane with you (DON'T buy it before you get through, or you'll have to throw it away because of the restriction on liquids - http://www.tsa.dhs.gov/311/index.shtm ).

After your flight takes off and the flight attendants give the ok for electronic devices, take the recommended dose of Tylenol PM (never take more than the proper dosage) for your age, grab your neck pillow and eye shade, and sleep as much as you can on the plane. If you wake up, you might want to get up and stretch your legs every once to help the circulation and swelling in them (it's normal for your legs/ankles/feet to swell up a little on a long flight). Be sure to drink plenty of water (but don't overdo it).

Listen to music on your iPod (or play games on it) to help pass the time, too. You may also enjoy the in-flight entertainment.

Hope this helps - just relax, and have a great flight.

  3. A seven hour flight can feel pretty long, especially if you run out of things to do and cannot sleep.  Sleep is probably the best way to make a flight pass by faster.  If you are flying from the U.S. to Spain, you will be flying on a red-eye flight that departs at night and arrives in the morning or early-afternoon.  This should give you a pretty good chance of getting some sleep.  But if you are not able to fall asleep...

Of course it depends on the airline, but more and more carriers are installing more individual entertainment systems on their aircraft nowadays.  Continental, for example, has video screens on the back of each seat, even in coach, and can definitely help distract you with the variety of movies, shows, and video games that are available.

And then there are the obvious things to pack into your carry-on, such as an mp3 player, DVD player, laptop, books, magazines, travel games, cards.

  4. Bring a magazine, puzzle book (sudoku is my fave) and/or novel. These will keep your mind occupied and the time go by! Have fun and good luck!

  5. Sleep for 5 of them, or bring a book....it will fly by.

  6. where r u going?...watch a movie or read...good luck and have a great timee!!

  7. take your ipod and a laptop they can keep you company for a long time!!!

make sure you have a linksys for wifi
