How to make Eloping more romantic?

My husband to be and I Dont have many family or friends around it is just me and him all the time..So we decided that we dont wanna spend the money on a big wedding we just want to elope.But i cant figure out how to make it really romantic for the two of us.We live in Alaska and wanna take 3days off to just us and in one of those days we wanna ahve the elopment ceremony. Also the day after the ceremony we wanna have a mini honeymoon.So plz if anyone has any ideas on how to make this romatic answer back Thank you

Look for elopement packages in your area.  Maybe something similar to this?

Rent a convertible if the weather permits. Everything is more romantic in a classic convertible!

well i think that if you love each other enough you wont need to buy material things for it to be romantic. but just do it simple and like a simple white dress simple tux [[for him]] and just have fun with it do what you need to do. and dont let anything...ANYTHING ruin your guys day no matter what...

A few months ago on a trip back home, I ran into one of my very first ever boyfriends from the summer he and I both turned 16.  He's been single a while but was about to propose and was working on some really cool ideas for their wedding.  They both wanted to elope.  The idea he came up with was for them to come to Alaska, get the license, and then get married at night when the Northern Lights are in the sky.  Turns out there are even hotels, campgrounds, cabins, and bed & breakfasts that have wedding packages just for that!

It sounded lovely and the pictures he emailed later of the Northern Lights were stunning.  

Isn't it getting close to the best time of year for the Lights?  If so, you may run into them on a glacier somewhere, getting married at night.  :-)

the big ak, i live here as well and all we did was go to the JP. I loved it, it was just him and me and the JP and it really hit me to be together for ever so congrats and i don't know were in AK you live but you can do ton of romantic things like go get married first and that way every thing you do will be for the first time as Mr and Mrs, you can rent a nice hotel or cabin or go camping and try to talk some time to relax and enjoy be newly weds also you can go on a Cruise they are not to bad or my favorite going on a road trip it is all up to you. hope this helped and have fun.
