I have a large LEGO city and i have some boats and stuff, and i was wondering how to make water, like a mini ocean or coast and a river. I was thinking a bout ordering a whole bunch of LEGO pieces (8 cents for a mini plate thing) And to lay them side by side or stacked in a way. Or should I use real water? I dont want to make model water like model train sets have, but something that i can move the boats and stuff in.

  1. you could possibly use blue sheets of acrylic

  2. i would prob use real water but if u do u have to keep it clean and treated so just keep that in mind

  3. me and my brother used to use like blue felt from a craft store... or you could even get like tin foil and color it with a blue marker. it looks pretty good.

but if you can find a way to waterproof your legos so it doesn't leak... I'd say go for real water! maybe try covering the area you're going to fill with saran wrap? so it doesn't leak out... just make sure if you're doing this its not near anything that could get damaged from water leaking... or nothing electric is present.

  4. Use real water ;)))
