  1. i think hershey's has a recipe.....

    Chocolate mayonaise cake:

    2 cups all-purpose flour

    1 cup white sugar

    4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

    1 teaspoon baking powder

    1 teaspoon baking soda

    1 cup mayonnaise

    1 cup water

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 11x7 inch pan.

Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, and soda. Add mayonnaise, cold water, and vanilla. Beat 2 minutes. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), 30-35 minutes. Frost if desired.

I've tried this but didn't think it was any better than a regular chocolate cake. But maybe your hubby will love it anyway!
