How to make Model Lighting?

i made a model and i was wondering how hard it is and how to make a lighting system for it?

  1. Again, it depends on what you plan to "LIGHT" !! It's not difficult to do with patience and planning.

    From the model railroading community, there are a great number of products for putting "grain of wheat" lamps or LED (light emitting diodes) into buildings and railcars.  These are typically 12 volt systems.

    Back in the mid-1990's I built a 1/48 scale S-3B Viking using that technique.  In the early 90's I built a 1/35 scale F-14D that had the exterior lights in LED and the entire cockpit lit with fiber-optics.

    Fiber optics are used for tiny pin-point lights... as often seen on sci-fiction space-ships... like on many Star Trek Models.
