How to make a 1994 Honda xr100 faster with out putting any money into it.?

How can I make my all stock honda 1994 xr100 faster with out putting any money into it. Please I need to know thanks for your time.

Well, you won't see that much of a power gain, but you could remove the airbox lid. Then rejet it. Which won't cost much. Either way, your gonna have to spend SOME cash if you want real power gains.

Figure that one out and you'll be a rich man. I've tried all the jetting, airbox and exhaust mods and it doesn't make enough difference to waste your time doing it.

a couple of ways come to mind depending on "make it faster" being top speed or corner to corner???

first off, you can open up your air box, pick the needle up one clip and remove the baffle to gain an ever so slight power boost (not really noticeable other than it will be louder, which is not good if riding in an area with alot of other riders or populated with noise restrictions)...

to get more pulling power (but less top speed) drop a tooth on the countershaft sprocket or add a few teeth to the rear sprocket.

to get more top speed (but less pulling power, and that small of an engine will be limited to pulling full rpm with taller gearing) ... add a tooth to the countershaft or drop a couple teeth off the rear sprocket...

but that will cost you a small amount by buying a new sprocket or new sprocket set (not to mention you might have to add or remove chain links)...

not just a whole lot you can do for free to increase the performance of that bike...
