I have been asked to make a 'link' to a question I answered on Y!A (not one I asked) so that another could find the question/answer...but did not realize such could be DONE, let alone how to do so.

Anyone care to reveal this arcane knowlege to me?...for 10 points? :-))

  1. You need to go to the question, then highlight the URL in the address bar. You then Right click it and use copy. On your answer you use right click and paste. Only use this if someone has specifically requested it, posting links to other questions and answers is considered spam by the regulators unless it is a for a requested purpose.

  2. I guess you are referring to the "Anchor Tag".

    http://www.expertrating.com/courseware/X...

just put website.com with http:// in front of it.

  4. If you want a href link then is <a href="http://url.com>location</a>
