How to make a DVD has Vietnamese Subtitle that playable on DVD player?

Ok, the title is my problem, I have a AVI video file and an English subtitle file type: .SRT (also .*** and .SSA type), but then I stucked. Can't find the way to burn it to DVD disc and make it playable on DVD player (mine is DV-266 Pioneer). I have sufted over many websites and forums for instruction but almost of them just tell me how to make hardsub (don't want it) or how to view AVI with subtitle on PC, not DVD player.

I can add English subtitle, but cannot for Vietnamese? They just don't display right!!!

Please, can someone help me out? Thank you so much.

You can use convertxtoDVD,  there you can add avi, mpeg, ect... add menus and srt subtitles for different language its very good and easy to use. after that you burn the image in the same software the finished disc could be played in regular dvd players
