  1. You will need an OLDER stereo amp that you haven't used for a while to DRIVE the Car sub.

You will need ONE RCA cable to connect the Sub-OUT from your Dolby Surround amp to the Older Stereo amp .

Then choose an Input on the older amp and use it...

Then depending on your speaker configuration you can use ONE CHANNEL  as an output to the speaker OR you can use dual outputs to dual inputs, and get an extra RCA Y-splitter to split the  Subwoofer output from your Surround sound amp.....

Now I didn't say it was going to sound great "right out of the chute"......you'll have to tweak the amp's bass and volume to BALANCE the output with your Surround amps volume levels...

And if you don't....it'll sound like c**p !

  2. Just take it out the car(be sure to remove the amp or tape off the wires in your car). If you have a connecting post outside your woofer box just get the speaker wires from the AMP to the SUB  woofer and your in business. Make sure your woofer has a crossover or your AMP has a powered sub out, other wise you wont get the real bass i think your looking for. If not you must get another amp, connect the RCA output of main amp to a bass crossover input, then connect the bass crossover output to your new amp. Connect your woofer to the new amp and you will be fine. any questions just ask me
