How to make a Mortar and Pestal?

Alright, i was wondering how a mortar and pestal would be made? is it possible to make it out of things that could be found, im still a teen so i do not have the money to tackle any spending and would be extremely well if i could make this on my own somehow?

Just keep thinking is Native Americans were able to make a basic kind without the tools we have today then why should it be so difficult for me to make one...

any help would be greatly appreciated

You can use any bowl as your pestle and use a small shot glass as your mortar
