   There is actually a new board game out called "Pandemic." The goal is to stop 4 virus from spreading world-wide. It's a cooperative game where everyone wins or they lose to the game  mechanics (the viruses spread across the world). You might try something like this.

   Be more specific. What is the board game for, an assignment? Is it supposed to demonstrate something specific, such as gravity or chemical reactions?

   Why not try something like a Trivial Pursuit game?  Do questions for a variety of different categories.  A game like Taboo is also possible where people have to identify the term based on definitions.  Best of luck with it.
