So I have a 92 Buick lesabre which i love but i want it to sound more like a muscle car because it has power to it, but doesnt get the respect it should. I've heard both flowmaster 40s and Cherry bomb glass packs are good and at the same time I've heard theyre bad. So what should I do?

  1. WHY?

Thats not important. What do you need that for?

  2. I have the 1991 LeSabre. That exhaust snakes up around the rear axle, so you may have to do some modifications. A Cherry Bomb would be fine, but you have to check the legalities in your area, because in Pennsylvania you can't use em'. So I would recommend a Thrush, and if you are not satisfied, straighten out that tailpipe and do some mods (and still go with the Thrush). Flowmasters are too quiet for my taste.

Don't know if you can put headers on there or not. Just an idea. Since you are fuel injected, you should be okay and may get a slight increase in performance. Good luck.

  3. Take the muffler off.

40s aren't bad.  I think glass packs are tho.  But if you want to save money, just take the d**n muffler off.

  4. first off don't go with magnaflow if you want it to sound like a muscle car... even though it wasn't one of your options, just in case someone tries to convince you

those flowmasters combined with an off-road midpipe (no catalytic converters) sound MEAN on my stang, ive had plenty of complaints from the neighbors and been pulled over many times lol (catless- not street legal)

ive never heard the cherry bombs in person

  5. Sorry a 92 la sabre won't pass the muscle car test> You can put an exhaust to make it louder but it has no performance parts> To give it that massive HP rumble>

Look and see if there is some parts for the engine you have>
