We are having registration day for the two year old preschoolers where we meet the parents and the child. Any suggestions on how to make the classroom fun and inviting? Also any ideas on a poem or a craft to give the parents to let them know that their baby is safe and taken care of for the year.

  1. colours! colours! and more colours lol, loads of teddies

  2. I think classrooms look fun and inviting with lots of colors.

As for preschoolers, lost of toys, stuffed nimals and books.

  3. bright colorful educational posters and decorations. have the kids make a colorful craft and hang it around the room

  4. Have a grab bag of fun ideas for parents to do with their children.  e.g. Make a nonbake cookie like peanut butter/powdered milk/confectioner's sugar balls

Take children's pictures as thet reguster and add to a poster or bulletin board

Have a bunch of bananas and remove a banana and write the student's name on it and add to the bunch as they register. Interactive items will engage students and parents.

  5. Colors and toys make little kids HAPPY!!

  6. Good organized, well labeled shelves and walls.

You should have a great variety of items, toys and posters that represent the cultures of your children and community.

Avoid overdoing it. Leave some empty wall space for serenity. This will also help later on to avoid behavior problems.

    Good luck ;)

I'm sure it will go well.

  7. Lots of bright coloured posters will do the trick/

you can make a fun card using felts and again, bright colours to let the parents know their children are safe

    good luck!

    hope I helped!
