How to make a coop for a broody hen?

I was reading my Storey's Guide to keeping Chickens and realized that there is no information about how to build the inside of a brooding hen's coop. I need to know where the nest should be located (high or low), How high the sides of the nest should be, and any other things that you put in your coop. Thanks!

Are you talking about the actual nest or coop?

The coop needs a raised laying section about 6 inches above the floor level, you need roosting poles and that is it, just make sure to put a small amount of hay in the nesting/laying area and a small amount of sawdust underneath the roosting bars.
