How to make a copy of a home dvd using my dvd camera?

I have done this before but for the life of me I can't remember how I did it. I want to play my home movie dvd in my dvd player and hook my dvd camera up to either the tv or dvd player and record a copy of the dvd playing. I can't remember how I hooked up the cables last time was it to the tv or dvd player, did I unhook the cable to the tv first? Please help. Thanks

If you want to duplicate a DVD you should copy the files to your PC with DVDDecrypter and then burn the new DVDs with Ashampoo-Burning-Studio-Free.
