  1. Make coffee, pour into cup, add nothing, drink.

  2. Sounds like your making "instant" coffee...is this right?  If so I don't see how you could even consider drinking it black.  Instant coffee needs all the help it can get...sugar, milk, syrups.  If you want to drink coffee black, get yourself a coffee maker...if it's just you, there are plenty of small single server machines on the market.   It's best to get a small grinder and grind you own bean for fresher better tasting coffee.  Also drink a flavored coffee to elminate the need for sugars/sweeteners or milk/half & half.

  3. i put 2 teaspoons of coffee in the cup (if they're having it black, they obviously want it strong), boil the water and add it to the instant coffee.

    that's how i roll.

  4. there ya go.  thats black coffee

  5. Are you talking instant coffee? Then besides the fact that you should never boil the water you did fine.

If you are talking ground coffee...what were you thinking.

Here is what I do ever morning.

    Tools needed:

    Coffee Grinder

    French Press

    Kettle

    Chop stick (seriously)

    Ingredients:

    Filtered Water

    Fresh coffee beans

    Steps:

Add your slightly more than your desired amount of end coffee's worth of water to the kettle and heat. DO NOT BOIL. Boiling alters the flavor of the water and will scorch the beans.

While water is heating, grind your beans. I like my coffee dark so I use more, this is a variable depending on your tastes. Add the freshly ground beans to the French Press.

Add the heated water...just slightly below boiling to the Press and gently stir with the chopstick. You don't want to use a metal utensil because the heated water weakens the glass of the press, and wooden spoons tend to be wide and difficult to use.

Put the lid for the press on and let sit for 3-4 minutes to steep the coffee.  Once steeped, carefully press the coffee to remove the grains.

    Pour and enjoy.

    make it

  6. ha well....you can put some milk in it. or some of that stuff u poor in the coffee and it comes in different flavors. Lol. but thats all i can think of besides putting sugar in it

  7. You don't put in sugar? I don't know...

    Is this even a question?

  8. I was going to answer, but Mayor West up here pretty much took my answer.  (And yes...a chopstick is necessary...a wooden one.)  My only difference is that I steep mine for only two minutes.  Granted, I prefer a dark-roasted Kona bean...pretty strong.  I use one heaping tablespoon for each cup.

I hope you're using instant coffee, hon.  If you are, I suggest you get off the stuff and try the real thing.  A French press will only put you out about $30, and you'll never go back to instant again.  No coffee is better!...unless you want to go Turkish, but that's an answer for another time.   ;)

  9. milk

    or sugar substitute

  10. By not putting sugar!!

  11. you did it!

  12. No no, not unless it is instant coffee, use a coffee filter place it over the mug, and let the water drip through the coffee grounds. Otherwise, use good coffee, and use a coffee maker.

  13. stir it up + enjoy babes.
