How to make a easy pasta sauce?

i was just wondering how to make a really simple and easy pasta sauce. oh i don't have any tomatoes so no recipe with Tomatoes.

  1. Do you have lemons and garlic?

    If you do, you can make amazing lemon pasta.

    In a small saucepan add a little olive oil and 1 tbsp butter,add 1 garlic clove shopped and saute for 1 min.

    Add the zest of one lemon and the juice,remove from heat add some finely chopped parsley,a little salt and pepper.

    Angel hair pasta is good this way,

    When your pasta is done ,add it to the sauce with some pasta water.

    Mix well and enjoy with some nice grated cheese


  2. GO BUY SOME TOMATOES!

    Crush them, mash them, whatever. Add herbs and some sugar (about two teaspoons should do it) for some flavour too. I've tried this and it's ah-mazing!

Well you can make a cream sauce, just saute some chicken chunks and add some veggies if you want and saute until mostly cooked, then add a sort of beshamele sauce: Flour and butter at bottom of pan. Then add some Cream/milk and some cheese. Preferably mozzarella because of the taste and the color is matching. Let reduce a little. :) Its fast and easy. Doesn't have to be perfect... just a bit of everything, you know.

  5. Do you have some pesto in your pantry/fridge?  If so, toss that w/ your cooked pasta, plus a little of the cooking water.  Also, minced onions and garlic sauteed in EVOO + butter and tossed w/ hot pasta = good eating.

    Mushroom Walnut Sauce for Pasta

    2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil

    8 oz. Mushrooms - sliced

    1/4 C. Walnuts - chopped

    3/4 C. Heavy whipping cream

    1/4 tsp. Black pepper

    1/2 C. Fresh Parmesan - grated

    Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium heat. Saute mushrooms and walnuts until mushrooms are golden. Add cream and cook stirring frequently for 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Turn heat to warm and when cream stops simmering, add pepper and Parmesan and stir until sauce is smooth. Do not boil. Serve over pasta.  Especially good w/ stuffed pastas.

    Real Fettucine Alredo

    1 pound fettucine noodles

    8 Tbsp. butter

    1 cup heavy cream

    1 cup freshly grated Parmigginao-Reggiano cheese

    Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

    Freshly grated nutmeg

    As the water for the pasta begins to boil, melt butter in large sauté pan over low heat.  Add cream to butter and let it warm.

    At the same time, salt the pasta water and cook until al dente, according to package instructions.  Drain pasta thoroughly, and mix with butter and cream in sauté pan over low heat.  Add cheese and toss until sauce thickens slightly.  Season with pepper and nutmeg.  

    Remove from heat and serve immediately with additional cheese on the side.

    Serves 4-6

  6. i like the alfredo sauce usually just made with 1 or two cans of mushroom soup and some milk. from there you can add onions, garlic, cheese, black pepper and any other spices and ingriedients you want. stir until a creamy consistancy.

    Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

    INGREDIENTS

        * 1/2 cup butter

        * 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

        * 2 teaspoons garlic powder

        * 2 cups milk

        * 6 ounces grated Parmesan cheese

        * 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

    DIRECTIONS

       1. Melt butter in a medium, non-stick saucepan over medium heat. Add cream cheese and garlic powder, stirring with wire whisk until smooth. Add milk, a little at a time, whisking to smooth out lumps. Stir in Parmesan and pepper. Remove from heat when sauce reaches desired consistency. Sauce will thicken rapidly, thin with milk if cooked too long. Toss with hot pasta to serve.

      

  8. sautee some shrimp with a stick of butter, garlic, salt, pepper, parsley, pour over your noodles (fettucine or linguine is best) simple and tasty

  9. use butter in a pan put a little flower in it ...like a spoon let it get a little brown ,salt, pepper, little milk.....it will thicken and you put it on your pasta
