How to make a firing mechanism for an Iron Man suit?

Hey, so my friends and I have been building an iron man suit and we thought it could be cool to use firecrackers as the fake guns... we wouldn't shoot them but just have the sparkling and sparking ones to look like it.

Any one have any idea on how to build in a firing mechanism?

Wait, is it a prop or does it actually help make you stronger, cuz I've been doing that too (its coming along terrible :)

You could try pressurized air.... or a spring, or even a little motor that spins the firecracker around, making the sparks fly.

I'd draw it for you but I cant, sorry...  It's pretty clear in my mind.

Sparklers would be good.  Maybe some kind of electornic device instead. Safer and maybe better colors.
