How to make a good amaretto sour?

What is good way to make it?I heard 3 ounces of sweet and sour mix with an once and a half of amaretto.is that correct?

amaretto, and enough sour mix to your liking, i wouldn't go by any "recipe" its to your personal taste.

as for how much a splash, its basically turning the bottle over fairly quickly so one quick line of fluid comes out, then you turn it back up again, making it sort of splash out.  probably averages about 1/4 oz:
