  1. First, learn how to say "What's all this then?"

  2. Okay, all the advice i am about to give you is based on the metropolitan police service.

The application form; Firstly ensure when you are writing the application form you follow all instructions to a 'T' the application form its self is part of the assessment. For example if it says 'Block Capitals' write in block capitals. Secondly, ensure you grammar, punctuation and spelling is near perfect. The police will not accept any one with poor grammar, spelling or punctuation mistakes! (Aim for a maximum of 6 mistakes but try not to get any! Any more then 11 your application will be dismissed!)

The Interview; Be your self, make sure you know what your talking about do a little bit of research about the police and look on the news for about a month prior to the interview so that you are up to date with current affairs. They will ask you about it.

Prior to applying; Ensure that your fitness is relatively good. You should be able to do about 25 press ups ( i think the met ask you to do 15 i cant remember the exact amount). You should be able to jog about a mile with out stopping. (a gentle jog is fine. But make sure that you can sprint a fair distance to).

There is more i can help you with. But can't really post it on here otherwise this post will go on for ages. Just email me and ill sort something out to help you the best i can.

    Sam

  3. I'm not sure if that's possible.  If you end up on traffic you will have to harass innocent motorists.  Innocent motorists often get fines for the most petty of offences.  Some of these motorists have children and low incomes and it is very common for children to go hungry because some over officious copper nicks their dad over something that really should be ignored.  Then the police wonder why they get little respect from some quarters.

I am a very honest and decent person.  Those who know me well regard me as being very responsible, honest and considerate and yet I detest the police because of the way many of them have treated me.

  4. You need to pass the entrance exam (unless you have the required qualifications), and be physically fit. You have to have an idea as to why you want to be a PC because the interview panel will ask you! The pass rate is quite low. If you can't get in, try your local force, then transfer to the Met at a later date if you still want to. Good luck.

  5. get an lobotomy

  6. So that makes you a paid grass, m8 people will hate you for ever and you will always look over your shoulder....best tip is leave now.

  7. to be calm

  8. I assume you're applying for the job?  If you want to be a "good" candidate for the job, you better be able to show why you're better than the other applicants.  Also, find out what specialties the London Met Police are looking for?  (knowledge of CCTV equipment, electricians, surveillance experience, etc)

    experience? work ethic? education? etc.

If you're not applying for the job, I suggest you take an english class or two because you're question is unclear.
