  1. Yeah removing the seeds and ribs will help but it is still gonna hurt. try and talk them into jalapeno's insted. good luck. Cheers

  2. I read about fake habanero peppers years back, if you can find one they don't taste spicy and look EXACTLY like a normal one.

If you can't, don't chew. The seeds are the hottest part, if you don't chew they won't touch your tounge!

*Remember to eat/drink lots of dairy, too!*

  3. take out the seeds and the strip that goes around inside of it, thats all of the spicy stuff, milk makes the burning on your tounge go away... all i can say is good luck and get er done!!!

  4. whatever you do, do not cook it.  cooking it will increase the heat of the pepper.  Most of the Capsican is found in the seeds and along the interior of the pepper.  According to the Scoville Scale a habanero has a rating of about 100,000.  And a jalapeno has a rating of about 2500.  Pure Capsican which is the chemical that gives you the sensation that your on fire is about 16,000,000.

My advice to you is good luck.  I like spicy peppers, however the habenero is something that I don't find too spicy, but my stomach and intestines do not like it.  And believe me once it passes through your digestion track, you probably won't eat one again.  By the way if your mouth is on fire, the best thing for you to do is eat a piece of bread, or a tomato, that way the capsican will be absorbed.  If you try to drink water with it, you will only make the effect worse.

  5. You could try to remove the seeds and the veins of the chile and soaking it in vinegar to take some of the heat out, but it will still be very hot. also you could buy a manzano chile and say it is habanero... if you don't have the two of them together, and not know a lot about chiles, they look almost the same, it is still quite hot, but nowhere near habanero.

You can take a look here:

    And good luck!!

  6. The only way to help is to remove the seed and all the white ribs that are in there. Also the milk or cheese will help the heat on you tongue. Nothing stops the burn out the other end but, tucks will help.

  7. Good luck habaneros are really spicy, LOL.  If you had more time I would say eat spicy food throughout the week and gradually eat spicier and spicier food.  Then you will be used to eating spicy food and a habanero will not seem to be that spicy.

However, you can always cut the pepper up and take out the seeds and ribs.

Or have a lot of water, milk, and cheese ready.  You could always try eating yogurt.  I know that some people put plain yogurt in their food, when cooking it, to kill the spiciness.  Since you will not be cooking you will probably need to get a flavored yogurt.

  8. he,he ! send me a video ok?

take a small bite and pause then eat the rest, then pause,to think of how dumb you were to accept that dare !!!!

    ( cause NO-ONE -H A S -TO -EAT-ONE !!!)

  9. If you can, cook it in milk - that'll soak out some of the oils.

  10. Have you ate one before?  If not, let me tell you what's going to happen.  Your mouth is going to burn for AT LEAST 20 minutes.  That's not an exaggeration.  Now, cheese or milk will cool off the burning, but you have to keep it in your mouth.  Once you swallow it, the burning comes back.  So I would recommend cheese.  I would rather hold cheese in my mouth than milk.  Milk gets all warm and gross.  Make sure you have a big chunk of cheese, or several slices.  To cool off your mouth, put a piece of cheese in your mouth and hold it there as long as possible.  Then swallow it if you have to, and put another piece in.  After a little while, it should go away.

Removing the seeds would be a good idea.  Also, I hear when you c**p it out, it's equally as hot.  But I never ate one, I just bit into it once, and spit it out.

  11. If you're not allergic to peanuts you can eat them afterward if there is no milk-based product available.

There's a BBQ joint in Seattle called Dixie's and the owner Gene has this super-hot sauce called "The Man" that he forces people to try. When they're mouth is burning they frantically run across the restaurant trying to open shelled peanuts. It's hilarious. But the peanuts always kill the fire. I never knew that until I went to Dixie's but it works considering it's part of the show to eat there and I've never seen it fail...unless the person is allergic to peanuts in which case it becomes funnier.
