Forgive me, but I don't think you know how complicated a question you're asking. There are a variety of factors that must be known: what type of speaker? enclosed, open port, bass reflex,folded horn? What type of drivers are you using? How many? How big is the enclosure? What's the frequency range of each speaker and what are the resonant frequencies, and your crossover, is it for a two way or three way system? You need to get a few books on the subject....or perhaps you can buy a speaker kit where all the calculations have been done for you, and all you have to do is put it together. I've made speakers for years, and though it may well be my imagination or wishful thinking, I think they sound better than anything I could buy at a fraction of the price.
