How to make a homemade lock for my door (out of household iteams)

I am a very trust worthy kid and I think my parents dont trust me because of.... (maybe they did stuff in their room when they were young and think im going to do it) But they wont buy me a lock for my door. ive asked over and over again. anyone know a way to make a lil lock out of house hold iteams?

ok so you go to a hardware store and go buy urself a god d**n lock set:) easy as that

 Get an electric airsoft gun.  If anyone opens the door while you and your smashin your chick, unload on them.

Duct tape. Lots and lots of duct tape:) or you could hammer a nail into the door's border and hammer some kind of strong loop-shaped material onto the door, that is the type i used to have. Hope this helps!

you all retarded i just want a lock on my door so my parents dont walk in on me and my girlfreind he asked for a lock not your goddam opinions on "privacy"
