  1. Use a interesting cheese like blue cheese or goat cheese, add some veggies in it. Maybe some protein, like chicken or beef. Some interesting spices like rosemary or thyme. Just try to make it elegant, haha.

  2. Nah i know how that feels, im right there with ya! Well what you do is amke sure you follow the directions.

But add garlic, onion powder, different cheeses, liver, and hot sauce!

MM yummy, and have a side of cold turkey.

  3. first get the good brand.. kraft and add a about a tablespoon of butter to the water cook as directed on box.. what makes it really good is after it is done put it back on the stove put some cut up hot dogs, little smokies, or cut up smoked sausage (which ever u like the best) in it. stir this in and simmer for at least 30-45min makes it a great meal

  4. add some spices to it.

    =]

  5. Add some diced ham in it!! Maybe even a little bacon crumbles.

  6. Why not just go to Safeway and buy already prepared mac & cheese?  It's probably comparably priced and you may be able to pass it off as your own...

Your fam isn't coming out to get fed, they're coming to see you!  They'll probably just take you out to dinner anyway...

  7. Shell and cheese are my favorite...you can doctor them up by:

Dicing an onion and saute it in the butter you are going to use for the sauce.

I don't know if you are using a box or scratch style either way when you pour in your milk add about a cup of fresh cheese with a flavor, like jalapeno jack, blue cheese (start with 1/2 cup work up to the taste you like).

Since you know how to cook shells you can add other food to it beside cheese.

You can make a tuna salad:

shredded lettuces, dice tomatoes, slice celery, slice hard boil eggs, cooled shells, salt pepper to taste. Sever with baguette slices or toasted pita.

    Lemonade, ice tea, kool aid

matching plastic plates & cups with napkins

    Voila' you are a hostess

  8. Add some chunks of ham or real bacon bits to it to jazz it up.  Check your grocer's deli and if they have them buy a cooked rotisserie chicken to serve with it, they are inexpensive and flavor-able.

  9. Yes, DON'T make it from a box.  Make it from scratch.  Make the shells first (make sure they're not too soft).  Then, add heavy cream (or half and half) and a cheese blend.  Buy some small blocks of cheddar, mozzarella, and Jack cheese.  Also, buy some Parmesan.  Grate this cheese and mix it with the shells and cream.  Also, put a good layer of shaved parmesan on top.  (Don't forget to add salt to this dish).  Then put the whole thing in the oven and bake on at 350F until everything is melted.  If you want to go another step, fry up a pound of ground beef or ground turkey with some onions and garlic, drain the meat, and add it to the shells and cheese.  This makes it more like a casserole.  Serve with a salad on the side.

  10. Go to a thrift store grab a couch and table they should be cheap and you will need them anyway .If you can make mac and cheese you can make spaghetti try this website
