How to make a memorable birthday at school? URGENT.?

I want to make this birthday a special one for my BOYFRIEND.

I dont know what guys like for birthday.. any ideas?

and his birthday would be at school so ideas like party wouldnt be too convenient.

Make him a special lunch and a cupcake/ small cake with a candle in it and have a picnic at lunch time with him at school :)

Make an announcement (at assembly, or from the office). Just today, a boy stood in front of every high-schooler in assembly, and SANG the birthday song to a girl. He made everyone else sing too.
