How to make a network between my plasma tv and my computer? ?

this is an assignment due tommorow...how do i connect these two thingzzz???....plz answer asap..........help will be appreciated

  1. to network you need a network port on the device.  TV's and monitors do NOT have this facility.  the plasma can be used as a screen for the computer but thats as a computer peripheral not a network.

    also networks can only be between active devices and a screen is a purely passive device that offers no output or feedback so a network would not be possible anyway. (printers can network with special cards as they need to report back ink levels and job status)


  2. Most plasma televisions are incapable of doing any form of networking.

  3. .......Most tvs have no form of network capibility.   You can connect the laptop to a tv with a wire though.  Is that what you want?  To show video output on a plasma, check to see if it has a vga input.  This is easiest.  Just get a vga wire(male/male) and plug it into your laptop vga out , and the vga in on your tv.

  4. I suspect you need to read your text book first and master the material.

    You did not provide sufficient information to enable us to assist you.

    How is the plasma TV configured?  How is the pc configured?  These are critical points.  What interface is needed to link the two devices is determined by the info you failed to provide.
