  1. Tea is the easiest way. Just pop the paper in the oven at low heat to dry or use an iron to dry it out. You don't need to soak the paper.

  2. I did it using instant coffee. Make a little bowl of warm, strong coffee. Dip a rag into the mixture and dab all over your paper. Then put some dry instant coffee crystals and dab on certain places for a few blotches. Let it dry, it will kind of curl, which makes it perfect!

  3. Put a couple of tea bags in water and paint it on the paper with a paintbrush. blow dry it on a low setting, and add more of the dye. Then you burn the edges of the paper when it is dry.

  4. When I helped my husband age the Indiana Jones Journals we made, we used some paint and watered it down then used a spray bottle to lightly spray it on. A paint brush is more likely to make the paper too wet. Also, you want to do this outside in the sunshine so it will dry quickly. Another alternative is to use about 6 times strong tea or coffee solution, cooled and in a mister bottle also in the sunshine.
