What do you need to include on a phylogenetic tree. For example kingdom, division , family, genus, etc ? It should be on a single organism, but all of the phylogenetic trees that I googled are really complicated

  1. A phylogenetic tree can't be for just a single organism because the purpose of the tree is to represent the evolutionary relationships of lots of organisms.  Are you sure you're not being asked for the taxonomic classification? That would be an organism's Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, and Species names.
