How to make a positive impact on stereotypes?

I am currently doing a project on the social issue of Stereotypes. I am required to make an impact on this social issue in a positive way. What are some ways to make a positive impact? or battle stereotypes? I thought about making a compilation DVD showing how not everyone follows certain stereotypes...but I'm not sure on how to cause it to make an impact.

Why don`t you make a DVD showing what we loose when following stereotypes. For example Bill has stereotype for girls with glasses. Show her with and without ...   glasses ;)
