I am in year 10 and have to give a presentation about an animal of my choice in my learning style. My learning style is Kinaesthetic and my animal is monkey.

Can anyone please help me come up with a fun presentation to give to my peers.

Please and thankyou

  1. Perhaps set up an obstacle-type course where you describe a typical day for your monkey...and then have the class try to do those things.

    Examples:

gorillas are very strong...set up a box of books or actual weights that weigh what a gorilla could pick up...and see who can come closest to lifting it all, or maybe how close it is to the weight (I'm guessing waay less than half)...all while discussing whatever points you need to make.

monkeys love to hop and climb...set up some sort of platforms (chairs or desks) and maybe ropes and have people hop and jump around on them...be very careful, though, of people falling...again, talking about whatever points you need to make (perhaps the opposable thumb...have them try to climb a rope without their thumbs).

food...this could be popular, especially as people try to gross each other out...but a banana eating contest could be interesting...or have them try some bugs ;).

grooming...sprinkle glitter, or something larger such as hole punches, in the hair of some students who are willing to help you out...then have others pick through their hair and pick it out...discussing the social aspects of this job

Hope that gives you some ideas!
