How to make a "Caramel latte" from Starbucks at home?

Any Starbucks barista who would please tell me how to make a Caramel latte at home. How you guys do it? I just love it!!!! Thanks!!!!

You DO NOT need an expresso machine to make a caramel latte. Basically, expresso is a stronger form of coffee. Just brew strong coffee if you cant find expresso at your grocery store. You will need 1oz of caramel syrup for every 8oz. Extra if you like it super sweet. To froth your milk, heat your milk in a small sauce pan. DO NOT boil. Whisk with a wire whisk until thick and frothy. This is how you will combine your ingredients:

1) place your syrup into an empty glass

2) pour in your hot milk (no froth yet)

3) scoop froth into your glass about 1 in from the top

4) pour your expresso/coffee to the top

5) drizzle the top with caramel

6) ENJOY!

What you’ll need to make Starbucks espresso drinks:

1) An espresso machine. Starbucks, of course, sells espresso machines but they are pretty costly, ranging from 399$ to 1200$ (available on Starbucks.com). Wal-Mart has one for 29.86 (available on Walmart.com). Although quality does matter, if you’re just looking to have fun, any espresso machine with a steam wand will do.

2.) Espresso coffee ground for an espresso machine. You can buy a pound of espresso at Starbucks for 9.95. They’ll grind it for you, and you even get a free cup of coffee with it.

3) Milk. Whole milk, skim milk, soy milk, 2% milk- it’s your preference.

4) A large cup or pitcher to steam the milk in.

5) A thermometer to measure how hot the milk is.

6) A spoon.

7) Depending on the espresso drink you intend to make, you may need the following, which are available at most Starbucks stores or online at Starbucks.com:

vanilla syrup- for Vanilla Lattes, Hot Chocolates, and Caramel Macchiatos.

mocha powder- for Café Mochas and Hot Chocolates.

caramel sauce- for caramel macchiatos

whipped cream (optional)

well, first you need to get an espresso machine...

that can pull shots of espresso  and steam milk.

and you can buy the caramel syrup at starbucks... they arnt very expensive.........

lets say you want a grande caramel latte...

first you would add 4 pumps of caramel

add two shots of espresso

then add steamed milk....

you will need an espresso machine.

pull two shots of espresso.  steam your milk to about 160 degrees.  pump some caramel syrup into your cup,  pour in the shots of espresso,  fill the cup with steamed milk and put a little foam on top.

basically it's just a normal latte with caramel syrup
