How to make a raft for a stream/creek?

I live in minnesota and i need to make a raft for two people (about 130lbs. and 240 lbs.) I want to use logs and i need to kno how the creek is an average of about 2ft deep. reply ASAP!!!!

  1. Cut 10 logs that are 8-9 inches in diameter and 10 feet long. Lash them together with 1/2 " braided nylon rope. Do them in pairs, then lash the pairs together. Lash them at both ends and the middle.  It is easier to lash them together in the water. Both of you get on the raft and see if it supports you. If it does not, add two more logs.

    Be careful when lashing the logs, as it is necessary to lash them really tight.

    The straighter the logs are when you pick them out, the easier it will be to make the raft.
