Its pretty simple first you can find out how many batteries it takes and measure the total voltage 1.5 for AA's and 1.2 for AAA's and if its just something like a remote control car or a game boy don't worry about the Amps you can then locate a solar panel from your local electronics store such as d**k smiths. say the volts your after and the store clerk should help you find the right one((s) some times two are required to make up the total voltage) then just attach each end to the - and + parts of the battery holder (follow the link to see) face into the sun and your ready to go (if you wish for it to be permanent soldering may be required).
