How to make a soundproof room?

We hav a band... And we practise in our home.. But neighbours complain that It's very loud... So Pls give me an idea to make the room soundproof .. Which materials are to be used. Pls guide me..

well if u wanna save money use egg cartons and trays lol seriously put them all up over the wall it will keep the sound out or minimize it at least
