I have made a stencil. I am using it for painting. It is in the shape of an M. It has to be done in a specific way to look like the proper decal. How do I make the little corner pieces stiffer so that they wont move when I an trying to use the stencil and paint?

  1. try wrapping the points in masking tape. You may have to re-cut the points to eliminate the added bulk, but it should give you that stiffness you need. You could also spray stencil adhesive to the back of the stencil to hold the little points down. Personally I don't care for that stuff. Too much makes the stencil goopy, too little does nothing at all, but I'm an old fashioned stenciler and use toothpicks to hold pieces down with one hand and paint with the other hand!!  <BG>
