How to make a temporary tub drain stop

the pump chamber for the septic is getting full (wont come fix it until tomorrow) and i was wondering what household material i can use to put near the drain temporary for a quick shower.

i want to take a shower and then use a bucket to collect the water and dump it outside.

  1. use some aluminum foil to make a stopper and wrap it in plastic wrap


  2. a bottle top

    or cut a circle from a plastic bottle in or

    put a sponge in a plastic bag and wedge it in

  3. any thing round that will fit over the drain up to three inch's  when your done use a garden hose to drain water out of tub. Run your hose through the house and outside then place end in tub give hose one good buff in and wait for flow use hose like sweeper drain all water out.

  4. Shower outdoors, it's Summer and the water's fine!  

  5. the best thing to use is a plastic lid

  6. a rag always works

    plastic lid

    sponge

    piece of cardboard (wont last threw many showers)

    sock

    balloon/ condom filled with water

    you could use many things just not to small

    it must be larger than the hole

    or it will cost you to unclog it!
