  1. Here is a great tutu-tutorial I found looking for someone with the same question over on etsy...

  2. Go to http://tututoday.com

  3. Well, I'm not sure about where to get the materials, but go buy a swimsuit in her size, a plain one if you can find it, they will be on clearance now :D I'd say you only need at max 2 or 3 yards of tulle, it is usually really long and wide, so you'll cut it into strips to be sewn onto the swimsuit. If you want, you can get some tights and a tight long sleeved shirt if it's cold, have her put them on first.

    Good luck!

  4. You should use a lotard as a base...but I wont go on as I think you'll get better instructions on   http://www.craftster.org    they are excellent....loads of great crafters who will help you...put TUTU in the search box....go to the clothing section.

  5. I just made my 19month old daughter a cute tutu, with no sewing! It was sooo easy and Fun!  It took about an hour to do the whole thing.

You get a ribbon and the tulle, I got mine from Joanns. I used about 4 yards for my 19month old. This first site tells you exactly how to cut the tulle.
