first of all, it's spelt Volleyball.

secondly, i'm having the same dilemma! but anyways, i asked a similar question, and somebody told me that you can buy metal poles from walmart, and then just buy a separate net, because you dno't want plastic poles. next, if you can, get your dad to cement them into the ground, and put up the net (look up how high it should be, and use a tape measure). finally, look up the measurements of the court, and either use that chalk that gets used for soccer fields, or some flagging tape.

im sure there are ways to make one, but its easy and better to buy one. you can purchase parts or the whole net at athletic stores. make sure it will fit in the area you are putting it in!
