i need help it has to go to a lawyer can't be hand written and can't use quick books ot turbo tax PLZ HELP

  1. You can request a transcript from the IRS or you can request copies from your employers.  You cannot make one up yourself, however.


  2. The IRS can provide you a printout of what was reported. It isn't actually a W2 but it is an IRS document and it should be acceptable.

    Just a warning, if you are thinking about making a replacement W2 you are skating on very thin ice. They can and probably will be checked with the IRS. The IRS will not tell them what is on the W2 that was filed; but, they will tell them if the numbers the lawyer provided to them match what was actually filed.

  3. You cannot prepare your own W-2.  It has to come from the employer.

  4. download Form 4506-T from the IRS website to request the w2 or Call irs at 1-800-829-1040 and they will mail them to you.  OR visit IRS local office.

  5. Call IRS and request an information returns transcript.  It will have wage and withholding information on it.  Do not prepare one yourself because it will be bogus.
