How to make a wifi antenna to make a 1 km range connection?

i got to wifi adapters installed on 2 pc & i want 2 make a 1 km range connection but don't want to spend money on buying antenna, i want to make it, so wana know step by step what i have to do

Well you can try the pringles can antenna, but I doubt you'll get a 1k range out of it.

Otherwise I'd suggest buying a wireless extender. That will piggyback the signal

Building low cost home made 2.4GHz antenna is not that difficult, a tincan with 90 mm diameter, and 215 mm length can be easily used as 2.4GHz antenna for 1-2 km distances. It costs approximately US$5-10 per antenna.
