  1. Make a solar cooker from aluminum cans.  You have to cut and join them together to make a parabolic reflector.  Hope you get an "A" for your work.  Good luck.


  2. Most energy from waste models require the burning of or otherwise using the heat from decomposing material to generate power.

    You could in theory create a small compost container and put a very precise thermometer on it to show that heat is generated by the bacteria doing its' job.

    You might also try to harness the heat to spin a tiny turbine or fan and generator to light a small bulb then explain how it works on a much larger scale.

    I would love to see a micro methane extraction system with a tiny flame but I am sure there are rules about generating and burning gases during a demonstration at school :)
