How to make a youtube video.?

i want to make a video on youtube of a band and want to know how to make a video of the band.??

use windows movie maker (included in your windows machine)... it can help you make beautiful slideshow or video clip(e.g. mixing your songs with pictures/video/lyric/etc).... then save it as video file such as wmv file format... finally upload.

or .. Just get those clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/match with pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker to create new masterpieces....

this will help you.... Use 'zillatube'. This is the easiest (and also the fastest) way.

Zillatube produces mpg/mp3 formats from youtube that are compatible with windows movie maker(or media player), and more.

It is very easy to download and convert videos. Then edit those converted mp3/mpg videos with windows movie maker... save your file as wmv and then upload.

First of all u need to have a youtube account. Second get a video camera(try to have a digital camera for better quality). Then get somebody to record u guys while u playin'. you would have to record them with a video camera or if you wanted you could find pictures of the band and put it to a song that's by them that you have on your computer. My computer has a slide show maker that can do stuff like that. good luck=]]

If you're asking about the technical details then the most crucial part of it is recording to a video file format that you can easily turn into something YouTube can convert to its own Flash video file format. I think either MOV or MPEG4 videos are accepted. If you're shooting a video for a band you know the camera needed for recording needs to have some sort of digital output like FireWire or USB. Otherwise you can get some sort of USB video in adapter like the ADS VideoXPress to record from the composite or S-Video out of the camera. Some digital still cameras can also operate as MPEG video cameras.

Then of course there's the creative aspect of making a music video. That would be up to you and your imagination. :-) It's not that you make a video specifically for YouTube, but what video file format you save the video to that is compatible with YouTube. There is no special hardware for YouTube videos. Just shoot it as if you were shooting regular video for anything, edit it how you want in your favorite software. Just make sure about the video file format. I hear that people like to record to DV tape as a reference format. If you have a DV camcorder then you're set with the hardware.

If it's just taking video clips from an existing video, then I'd say that something like iMovie or Windows Movie Maker (or something better than WMM) would do it.
