  1. Hello,

Okay do you have a relaxer in your hair. If so, here is a way to get some pretty well defined curls without product.

Wash your hair with a moisturizing shampoo

Condition it with a moisturizing leave-in conditioner

Don't dry your hair but completly detangle it

generously add some styling mousse or your favorite hair gel

then do section your hair into some double strand twists or flat twists

put small size curlers on the ends of the twists or roll the ends into a bantu knot

for the best results make the twists small and sit under a hood dryer to dry

when COMPLETELY dry take out the twists with your fingers only. if you comb or brush em they will look frizzy

    lightly spray with oil sheen

if you feel the curls look too tight don't worry they will fall (loosen) but your hair will come out great!

Here's a youtube tutorial. she did hers on dry hair, but for a more curly look i suggest you do it on freshly washed and conditioned hair with some product.

    good luck!

PS if your hair is natural, you can do the same thing minus the hooded dryer, and you can get away with making larger twists.

  2. Curling irons work miracles. The bad news is once its chemically straightened, it won't ever happen naturally.

  3. You have to use rollers or a curling iron for curls. It doesn't matter if you have a relaxer or not. You can try hot rollers which work great. I've worn a relaxer for years with no problem, but I take very good care of my hair. Otherwise there are no products you can put in your hair that will make it curly.

  4. Girl water and grease and activator if ur hair is coarse

  5. Use rollers and leave the heat alone because it's too damaging to hair. Rollers are just as good as curling irons. Use some setting lotion and roll your hair at night with soft rollers so they don't hurt your head while you sleep. Or, roll your hair during the morning/day if you have a few hours to spare before you leave.
