How to make an earthquake model?

well for the earth quake model u need a motor of  very less RPM

which u have to fix at the bottom of ur model with some arrangment as you found in the wiper of any four wheeler which convert rotary motion into transvers motion

and at top of ur bass its ur choice what kind of stuff u wanna place

well i don't know how this is supposed to work but you could buy like some of them vibrating hand massagers and place them under a city model so it like moves? aha. thats all i can think of. good luck : )
