How to make an educational game using the periodic table.?

I have already received suggestions from friends saying that I should make a monopoly game using the elements, but I need something a little more simple, like jeopardy, but that game is too plain.

it depends a apon the age group if young kids involved try a memory game. where you have the periodic symbols on 1 card face down and on another card you  have the matching element. Mix them all up and the player not only would need to know the element but the periodic symbol as well to get a correct match.

Some elements are easier than others to figure out, maybe a type of game where a player would get to pick cards, of different stregths (difficulty) and they would get point values.  They can move along a board that would have an end, but they can move only based on the amount of points they get from a correct answer.  Like a blank card with only the symbol on it.

Maybe elements like Oxygen, Carbon, Hydrogen...easy ones like that would be 1 point/space.  

Slightly harder ones like Neon, Krypton, Argon could be 2 points/spaces.

You can go up from there, I don;t even know how many elements there are now, seems they add new ones every once in  a while.

Maybe you could throw bonus questions in there, like:

name 3 noble gases?

Name 3 precious metals?

Answers would have to be in symbol form of course.
